esm_catalog_utils documentation

intake-esm is a python package that eases analysis of Earth System Model (ESM) output. It provides functionality for searching, discovering, and data access/loading. A key ingredient for intake-esm usage is a catalog of the output being analyzed. This package, esm_catalog_utils, provides tools/utilities to build catalogs of ESM output that are usable by intake-esm.
